Our Mission

At Modern Day Hildegard and in partnership with Designs by Adaline, we believe creativity isn’t something you have to master — it’s something you already carry. Adaline's work invites you to express what words can’t: memory, meaning, wonder, emotion. Whether you bring an idea or just a feeling, we’ll shape it into something tangible.

Unleashing Your Creativity

You don’t need to be an artist — just curious enough to begin.
Whether you’re feeling blocked, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, this space is here to help you reconnect with your creative self — gently, honestly, and without pressure.

Why Does Creativity Feel So Hard Sometimes?

It’s not just you. Expressing creativity can feel vulnerable, especially if:

  • You’re afraid of doing it “wrong”

  • You haven’t made art since childhood

  • You have ideas but don’t know how to start

  • You compare yourself to others

  • You’re too busy or burned out

Creativity isn’t about perfection — it’s about permission. Let’s start there.

5 Ways to Reconnect with Your Creativity

1. Start with a Feeling, Not a Finished Idea
You don’t need to know exactly what you want to make. Begin with a color, a memory, or even a mood — and let that lead the way.

2. Lower the Stakes
Make something bad on purpose. Scribble. Cut paper. Take a photo of something ordinary. You’re allowed to explore without needing a masterpiece.

3. Make Space, Not Time
Creativity needs permission, not a calendar slot. Keep a notebook by your bed, doodle during phone calls, or voice-record your thoughts. Small acts count.

4. Inspiration Is a Two-Way Street
Don’t wait for it to strike. Feed it — with music, nature, textures, movement, conversations, silence. Creativity often shows up in the margins.

5. Collaborate With Someone You Trust
If it’s hard to go it alone, consider working with someone like me. I help people shape their ideas into meaningful works — even if they only have a spark.

Still Unsure? That’s Okay.

You don’t have to commit to anything today. But if your creativity is whispering, don’t ignore it.
Let it grow.
